Concreshield Heavy Duty Concrete Sealer

DESCRIPTION

Concreshield is a high-performance, xylene-based topcoat designed to enhance and protect concrete surfaces such as garages, driveways, carports, and pool areas. Unlike conventional coloured sealers, it features a unique thickening agent that’s added prior to pigmentation, ensuring superior coverage and an extended lifespan. Delivering both vibrant aesthetics and exceptional durability, Concreshield Coloured is the perfect solution for those seeking a long-lasting, professional finish.

Low Sheen and Gloss
Available in 4L & 20L pails

APPLICATION GUIDE

Surface Preparation:

  • For smooth finish concrete (e.g., garages), acid etch and neutralise before application.
  • For broom finish concrete, perform a thorough pressure cleaning.
  • Oil stains, brake dust, and tyre marks must be treated with a degreaser before pressure cleaning.
  • Conduct an adhesion test in an inconspicuous area before full application.

First Coat Application:

  • Thin the first coat with 20–30% Xylene Thinner for better penetration on smooth surfaces.
  • Apply using a brush or nap roller to cool, clean concrete.

Second Coat Application:

  • Apply a second coat without thinning for consistent, long-lasting coverage.

Re-Coating Existing Sealers:

  • Re-coating solvent-based sealers is possible.
  • Ensure all loose or flaking material is removed before applying Concreshield to achieve a durable finish.

IMPORTANT SAFETY & USAGE NOTES

For exterior applications, use an anti-slip additive to reduce slipperiness. In garage settings, water may pool on the surface after rain and remain overnight—take caution to prevent slips.
