20L Concreshield Primer

DESCRIPTION

Concreshield Primer is a premium solvent-based concrete primer from Shieldcoat, designed specifically to enhance the adhesion of topcoats on smooth and previously painted concrete surfaces where acid etching isn’t feasible. Its deep-penetrating acrylic resin formulation ensures a durable bond, making it ideal for applications on garage floors, factory surfaces, and driveways.

Note: Shieldcoat Concreshield Primer should be applied using a roller, not a sprayer, to ensure maximum surface contact and penetration. Rolling helps the primer work into the pores of the concrete, improving mechanical adhesion and overall bond strength for the topcoat.

APPLICATION GUIDE

• Stir the product thoroughly before use.
• Make sure the substrate is clean and free from any contamination, such as dirt, dust, or oils.
• Apply a small amount to an inconspicuous area to ensure compatibility and check for any adverse reactions.
• Apply first coat with a lambswool roller or soft-bristle broom and let it dry for at least 2 hours in good weather.
