DESCRIPTION

Rustshield W is a high-performance, water-based acrylic sealer and primer designed for metal roof substrates. It offers superior protection against rust and provides an ideal base for Roofbond Roof Membrane or Thermobond HRC topcoats. With over 12 years of proven durability, Rustshield W outperforms traditional solvent-based primers and spot treatments. When used with Roofbond or Thermobond HRC, it comes with a 10-year guarantee for long-lasting protection.

APPLICATION GUIDE

• Rustshield W is ready to use, with no thinning requried, however if desired thin with water sparingly.
• Pressure clean the roof with 3000+ psi, taking care to thoroughly rinse the roof at the end.
• Avoid application when temperatures are below 7°C or above 35°C.
• Rustshield W is designed to be airless sprayed using a 521 or similar spray tip.
• Allow extra curing time in winter months and do not spray after 2pm where possible.
